A large construction company with a single-company environment required a comprehensive ERP system to manage its various modules, including construction, sales, procurement, inventory, and project management. The company also sought an upgrade of existing CRM and HR modules from Odoo v16 to v17 with specific enhancements.

The  Solution

TDS implemented Odoo ERP with customized modules for construction work order management, Gantt charts, and purchase requests. The system also featured an enhanced CRM to map Business Lines (BL), Business Units (BU), and Strategic Business Units (SBU) to the analytical structure in accounting. Special requirements such as the integration of milestones, procurement management, and revenue recognition based on the percentage of completion were also incorporated. TDS upgraded the company’s CRM and HR modules to v17 with the necessary enhancements and custom workflows. ​

The Impact

The ERP implementation significantly improved operational efficiency by automating project control, procurement, and sales processes. The new system allowed for better tracking of material consumption, task delays, and project milestones, providing real-time insights and enhanced decision-making.
